SUMMARY Provides prescribed medical treatment and nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Staff RN.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Certificate from college or technical school.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before customers, patients, families and employees of the organization.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Graduate of an accredited School for Licensed Practical Nurses.

Currently licensed in State of Iowa as a Practical Nurse.

BCLS certification within three months of employment.
